ABOUT ME
I am Sebastián Alonso Collado González. I was born in Santiago of Chile where I also spent the first 23 years of my life. In 2010 I decided to move first to Buenos Aires and after to Europe (Germany and Austria). Since my life has been constantly changing, it is very hard to tell who I am. I am many things, a dancer, a migrant, a queer, a friend, a boyfriend, a son, a brother, and at the same time I am non of those things. I am a becoming human life characterized by the complexity which such a process implies
I have lived, transformed and changed through time. I went to a catholic school in Santiago and after I studied professionally theater and dance. In Buenos Aires I continued my dance studies and then I moved to Berlin. In Germany I was part of the art collective 77StolenFish and worked as a freelance dancer in Germany, Italy, Austria and Norway. In the last years I have been focusing my work on teaching contemporary dance and creating and choreographing dance project with youth. I also finished my MA in Gender Studies at the University of Innsbruck (Austria)
WHAT I'VE DONE
Currently, I am trying to bring together my interests in politics, theory and body work. Therefore, I am right now facilitating dance and theater project with young refugees and "germans". I am trying to understand what is the materiality that constitutes us as human beings, what is cultural, what is natural, or if there is such binary cultural/natural. I am investigating the body as a possible home which is open to the encounter of other homes. I am interesting in inquiring the body as the "crime scene", the place in which both trauma and personal/social change take place.

This project was an artistic intervention in the context of the so-called European refugee crisis. We worked for 4 months with young refugees from Kurdistan, Irak and Afghanistan, and with Europeans citizens from Spain and Germany. The idea was to create a protected environment in which the participants could revisit in an embodied, somatic and artistic way their own existence as human beings. This space was also a place in which the young newcomers could get to know other European young people.

This project was conceived as the creation of a safe space reserved for young girls in which they could explore their own "being-woman" in the Italian-Southtirolean society through somatic and dance work.
